
Muriel Kargbo leads the Dream Team but typically stays in the background while she encourages others and quietly carries the responsibilities of arranging distributions. She is Kennedy Lugar-Youth Exchange Studies alumni of the year 2020/2021; American Leadership Exchange alumni of the year 2022; and Iowa Resources for International Service alumni 2022. Muriel is a Medical student at the University of Sierra Leone. She is the first Sierra Leonean member on the White Field Partners Board of Directors. She hopes to make her country and the world a better and safer place for all mankind. Her theme is Empathy, and she brings kindness, respect, love, sharing, and humility to all.

Mabel Johnny is an honors student in her final year with a major in Biological Science at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. She is an American Leadership Experience Exchange (ALEX) alumna in addition to her work with the Dream Team.

Emmanuella Emmanuel is a 4th year pharmacy student at the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences. She is an Alumni of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange Study 2020/2021 and the American Leadership exchange program (ALEX) 2022.
She enjoys reading novels, articles and crocheting during her leisure time. She is passionate about improving communities whether through charity or providing health education. Emmanuella says, “What drives me is the desire to continuously learn and make a meaningful impact. I am motivated by opportunities to grow and develop my skills.”

Hawanatu Bangura

Joshua Kargbo is a Kennedy Lugar-Youth Exchange Studies Alumni (Year 2020/2021), American Leadership Exchange Alumni (Year 2022), and Iowa Resources for International Services.
He did his High School at St. Edwards Secondary School where he was a School Prefect and a senior member of the Literal and Debating Society (L&DS) and the Anti-Violence Movement.
Joshua is a strong Human Rights, Child Rights and Disabled Rights activist and campaigner.
He hopes to make his country and the world a better, more prosperous, and safer place. Everyone’s rights should be respected and strongly protected.
He is presently working with the Center for Child and Protective Services as a Case Manager where he works disadvantaged children who have been abused or neglected by the society. Joshua works to give them a better life.

Edna Bucknor

Abraham is an Alumnus of the Kennedy Lugar-Youth Exchange Studies (KL-YES) and Iowa Resources for International service (IRIS). He was chosen as one of the finalists for the annual KL-YES from Sierra Leone 2020-21, but was unfortunately cancelled by the global COVID-19 pandemic. He was later compensated by American Councils through the American Leadership Experience (ALEX) so he could and learn from other cultures and explain and promote Sierra Leonean culture. Abraham is an Electrical Engineering Student at the University of Sierra Leone(USL)-Fourah Bay College(FBC) in his qualifying year (Year 4). Abraham says, “I know I single-handedly can’t change the world, but I hope to leave it a much better place than I met it. My theme is Discipline!”

Georgette Sandy is a proud member of the Dream Team SL and a passionate advocate for children and community development. She is an alumna of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange Program (2020/2021), the American Leadership Experience (2022), and Iowa Resources for International Service (2022) where she developed strong leadership, cross-cultural, and civic engagement skills. Georgette is a fourth-year honors student studying political science (Bachelor of Arts) at the Fourah Bay college in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She combines her academic knowledge with her deep love for helping humanity especially children. Her dedication to working with White Field Partners is driven by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, learn, and dream without limits. She supports girls’ empowerment through the distribution of menstrual kits and the sensitization of young girls on health and hygiene. She is passionate about youth development, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
