Vocational and higher education has always been part of White Field Partners’ DNA. Currently, twenty university students volunteer in our Dream Team initiative. We recently learned that many of them do all of their coursework on their phones because they don’t have computer access. Two are medical students. Sometimes they have to share a phone with someone else. We want to change that because these dedicated young leaders have the potential to change Sierra Leone.
If you have a functional used phone you can donate, please contact Suzanne at (309) 798-7200 or suzannepitz@hotmail.com. Don’t worry, you won’t need to ship the phone to Sierra Leone. Suzanne will tell you how to send it to White Field Partners. Please restore the phone to factory settings to remove all your personal data. If you don’t know how, someone will help you. Please include the phone charger. If there is a pin number to open the phone, please note that. Our shipping deadline is October 15, 2025.
