A Rotary Foundation International grant through the Moline, Illinois Rotary Club funded a rice production project and three new water wells. To ensure sustainability, the project funded a threshing floor, a rice mill, and a casava grater.
Transplanting rice seedlings to the swamp is exhausting but joyful work. It was fascinating to see the rice production process and beautiful green rice fields.
